AUVIGNE & JONES opened in the fall of 2009. The owners Matthew Auvigne (pronounced:o-veen) and James Jones decided to put an emphasis on offering premium quality shoes in a market that was lacking a premium footwear establishment. It was decided that they would open in the historic Perron District - the original St. Albert main street and offer many types of European footwear.

They are proud supporters of St. Albert being both born and raised in the city and they believe that the future for St. Albert will be very bright. As members of the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce they are often involved in community affairs and local events throughout the city. They are also members of the St. Albert Artwalk an event that takes place on the first Thursday of the month throughout the summer which showcases art from local artists.
